Hi, I Feel Like Mr. Moviephone!

Hrrm. I’m beginning to detect a trend here. Yet another movie related post. This is the fourth or fifth in as many days. There are times when I’m too enamoured by pop culture. I guess this is one of those times.

This time around my infatuation revolves around the trailer for the new Iron Man movie starring Robert Downey Jr.. It looks suitably spiffy and I’m looking forward to this one. While I don’t expect it to be along the same calibre as the first Spiderman movie, here’s hoping that at the very least it’ll be better than the Inedible Bulk. The less said about that one the better.

So without further ado, here’s a link to the trailer @ Apple because Youtube doesn’t seem to have a version up yet.

Iron Man

So is anyone else surprised they used Sabbath’s Iron Man in the trailer? I’m certainly not.

Indiana Jones And The Really Verbose Movie Title

The title for the fourth Indiana Jones movie was released yesterday and, I’ll be honest, it doesn’t quite roll off the tongue. It is called
Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for it for the simple fact that it’s Indy but perhaps a little less verbage would’ve been more appropriate. Just because Harrison Ford is getting a little long in the tooth these days doesn’t mean the title has to as well.

Ah well, I’ll just shut up. We all know I’m just getting bitter and cynical in my old age.

*Rides off into the sunset humming the Indy title music*
