Survey Says…

Yeah, I’m well aware of the fact that I haven’t written anything meaningful at all this year and have only subjected everyone to a series of mindless quizzes, but I’m bored and still stuck in the same place in Sands of Time and after coming to terms with my Playstation suckitude I figured I might as well surf about mindlessly for a bit before crawling in to bed. So while surfing about I stumbled on yet another one of these stupid things and because I’m such an evil bastard, I felt a deep seated need to share. (Okay, let’s be honest, the “real” reason I, and everyone else, post online quizzes in our personal blogs is because on some level we all have a deep seated psychological need to be heard and posting something interactive gives our fragile egos some sort of validation that we do in fact have an audience, however limited, for the babble that we (semi-)regularly spew forth…)

Boy, am I a cynic tonight or what? Anyhow, here is the silly little quiz I found tonight that’s designed to see what your perfect major in school is/was/would’ve been.

Go figure on my results.

You scored as English. You should be an English major! Your passion lies in writing and expressing yourself creatively, and you hate it when you are inhibited from doing so. Pursue that interest of yours!

  1. If you’re stuck at the spot where you have to fight your old man who’s been twisted by the Sands then the key is to do leaping attacks. First you have to clear the room of mooks by killin’ any and all who appear. Leap over-slice attacks are super effective against the red guys but not the blue. Blue ones’ll block you and throw your ass to the ground where they’ll harm you multiple times. The launching yourself from the wall attacks work great against them and the red guys.

Once they stop appearing focus on Pops. The only way I’ve ever been able to hurt him is with the jump over-slice attacks. Just do them over and over again until the old guy falls down.

Lemme know how it goes. I am the Sands of Time expert!

  2. Oh, it’s not so much that I don’t know what to do. I know what I have to do to beat them. My problem arises from the fact that I am incapable of executing said plan without dying in multiple frustrating ways. Hence my statement of suckitude.

  3. Ohhh. Glad to see the wife helped ya out then. Just wait. There’s a room farther in the game that’s just gonna flip all your frustration switches. Talk about the infinite spawns.

  4. Inifite spawns I can handle. As long as it isn’t the blue shitheads with the double staves that won’t let me jump over them I’ll be peachy.
