Just thought I’d post this link as an interesting counter-commentary to all the media/political propoganda currently floating about regarding the afermath of Hurricane Katrina and it’s effect on the city of New Orleans.
It’s one man’s blog about how events are unfolding live from downtown where he and some family & co-workers weathered the storm to keep their data center operational and the human atrocities they’ve witnessed during the aftermath.
It has a live feed webcam and a ton of traffic so be warned if it’s slow.
Marvel at the wonder of the lowest common denominator… humanity.
And people wonder why we haven’t colonized mars yet… *boggle*
